Crane Co. had a mechanism of approving quotes that spanned across around 15 systems and took a lot of time for approval and thus delaying the process. They lacked a centralized control and auditing process and the current system they had was highly inefficient.
We analyzed the situation and conceptualized an intranet-based Hit Rate Approval system. It facilitated the two core processes of quote approval and hit rate recording. It also provided the business with a single database of all quote hit rate information which will ultimately be used for hit rate reporting.
