Like many, we can’t help but go on and on about how fabulous the new iPhones are. We have our own list of reasons why we can’t get enough of the new phone. But one reason that is an absolute favourite to us is the bigger display with Retina HD display.
For many years the rival smartphone makers had one major advantage over the iPhone – the bigger screen size. While the iPhone was stuck with a smaller screen display, the rival smartphone makers could attract different target audiences; most importantly the ones who love to spend more time playing games. Well, all these shortcomings has been overcome by the great team behind responsible for making the awesome new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Not only the gaming industry, but this advancement in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus lends a great opportunity to all the app makers to make the most of the bigger screen. There are currently over 1.3 million apps in the AppsStore. Apple’s launch of the new 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus does not necessarily mean that the developers will have to redo all these apps to work properly on the bigger screens of the new iPhones.
Phil Schiller, the marketing chief of Apple, in the keynote speech at the launch of the product on Tuesday revealed that the iOS 8 platform has a desktop-class scaler that allows apps to the various screen sizes. This also means that the users, for the very first time, will be able to use the device horizontally on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apart from this, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus also has an additional functionality called ‘Reachability’, which allows the users to double tap the TouchID to pull down the notifications with just one hand. As shared by Phil Schiller in the keynote speech at the launch was that Apple is now to giving access to its M8 chips to the developers so that they can run more graphic intensive apps closer to the processor.
Phil pointed out that, all this pain of allowing the users to view and use the apps horizontally has been taken to enhance the user experience. The in-built apps in the new devices have been designed to make the most of the bigger screen. We love how the new mail box and the messages appear in the new iPhones. This sure has opened many possibilities for those in the apps development business. It’s worth noting that CNN has already working on redoing its app to make the most of the bigger screen display. In the subsequent months many will follow. So, are you too ready to make you apps iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus-ready?

As a business owner who is always aiming to excel, you are constantly working towards making your presence appealing to your customers. A considerable amount of time, effort and money goes into marketing your business, its products and services. Just like your marketing material, your web applications or website must also be designed to appeal to your potential customers. The more professional your web presence is, the more credible your business will appear to your customers.
When considering creating a new web application or a website, businesses are faced with a dilemma. Whether to go for simple web development or get a bespoke web application or website developed that meets to your business needs perfectly. But before deciding which approach one should go for, remember that it all depends on the requirements of your business and what you want to accomplish with your website. A good web development agency can help you take the decision.
There are many platforms available for developing websites. There are numerous generic, pre-built website templates and themes available easily for purchase. WordPress themes are the most popular in the market right now with over 60 million people using it. Even most of the web development agencies recommend it. The reason behind such a success of the WordPress platform is that you can use only what is required for your business. It comes with a set of features that suit simple as well as complex requirements of businesses. There are so many plug-ins available that you can even build an eCommerce website on WordPress.
Building your website on a web development platform is very cost effective. If budget is something that is holding you back from getting a website developed for your business, then website themes / templates are your best bet.
Also, simple web development ensures a shorter development time for your web project.
But with so many people using pre-built templates, your website will look like a lot of other websites. Also, websites developed on pre-built templates are inflexible to your requirements. Additionally, the major problems with plug-in is that you’ll have to buy one to add one functionality to your website, another to add something else and so on. Templates also avoid the SEO aspects and sometimes face compatibility issues with different browsers.
Bespoke Web Development
Bespoke web development ensures unique and flexible web development, something that you won’t get with pre-built templates. Bespoke web development gives you the freedom to add features and functions that you wish to have in your website but won’t find a plug-in for if you choose WordPress or any other development platform. This means that your website will look and function different from everyone else’s website. Also, the website will be more adaptive to your business needs.
Bespoke applications make using web easy and offers a great user experience. Bespoke applications streamlines complicated processes and offers your user an easy and better way of dealing with your business online.
Today, bespoke web development is the first choice of web development agencies, including us. Why? The reason behind this is that bespoke development comes with numerous benefits. For example, your users can access your application from any device which has an internet connection, better communication with external suppliers etc.
From the SEO perspective, bespoke websites perform very well as compared to websites built on web development platforms. If you hire the right web development agency, their talented developers will construct a website with background coding that will help your website succeed in the search engines.
Bespoke web development may take a lot of time and cost more money for developing a web application but it sure is worth it.

From industry experts to business enterprises and web designing & web development agencies, everybody is curious about this latest release. This blog is all about what Google Material Design is and what it brings to the web development industry.
Google Material Design is the new universal cross platform design language by Google. This new design language is a part of the Google’s forthcoming Android ‘L’ redesign. With this new design language Android is getting a makeover which will be visible not just on the mobile but also on desktops and TVs too.
The key new feature of the new Material Design is the updated version of the system font, Roboto. The bold and dramatic colors, more fluid motion, highly polished animations and more tactile surfaces are some features that everybody is looking forward to. We hear that Google has done away with skeuomorphism and will now offer a flat and more colorful design that will comprehend accordingly when the user interacts with it.
We all know that Google is more concerned about the functionality than the look. And again, they have put user experience first. Material Design will offer a highly attractive responsive interface to its users.
To cut a long story short, here’s what all the web design and web development agencies can expect from the new design language by Google:
- Designers will now have access to a comprehensive new way of thinking that can lead to finding newer and better ways for software interaction in context to modern devices.
- Material Design mimics real world analogs, thanks to Google’s decision of doing away with skeuomorphism.
- Material Design is more than just real world logs. It’s a visual language that does more than just animated shifts. Users will now get contextual information about how they can interact with the interface while it is being set up.
Google’s Material Design is a brand new revolution in software aesthetics and the company has worked many years for coming up this new design language. All those years of effort into developing this new design principle points out one thing – our design experience will never be the same again. But only for good!

Being in the web development industry, every web development agency wants to build excellent web projects. But there are times when evolving nature of the industry itself makes it very hard for us to accomplish what we aim for. But not anymore! Agile Web Development – the next big thing is here!
Agile Web Development has come to the rescue for numerous of our kind and working on development projects is not the same anymore. The approach is so effective that today, more and more Web development agencies like us prefer Agile Web Development and strongly recommend it to the clients as well.
Rather than referring to it as a process, it is best to explain Agile Web Development as an attitude with which any project is undertaken. The Agile approach focuses on providing value to the clients and this is done by iterative and frequent delivery of working products. Simply put, in Agile Web Development, the project is broken down into small tasks. These tasks are to be completed in short cycles of 1 to 3 weeks. Each of these cycles involves planning, analysis, designing, documentation, development and testing. The emphasis is laid more on spending more time on actions that will add value to the web project. The key in Agile Web Development process is to take away the precious time and energy from parts of the development process that are non-relevant.
Such an approach not just ensures quality deliveries but also makes scope for entertaining change requests and feedbacks. The project can be completed in half the time normally taken or sometimes even quicker than that. Moreover, the Agile Web Development approach lets you keep your customers and key stakeholders in the loop throughout the development process.
This we can say from our own experience that it is impossible gather all that is required for development right at the beginning of the project. Sometimes it so happens that you are months into a project and the priorities of the project changes. You may also be faced with a sudden change in technology. Agile Web Development makes your projects immune to these kinds of changes that you may face over the course of development of a web project.
